In SY24-25, all Durham Public Schools are participating in the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP), which provides breakfast AND lunch free of charge to ALL students during the school day. Snacks and a la carte items are available daily for purchase.

Paying For Meals

Students who choose to purchase a la carte snack items can add funds to their accounts through the online meal payment portal: http://www.k12paymentcenter.com/  You will need to know your child’s student ID number, also known as the PowerSchool ID, to set up your account.  

The online payment portal allows you to:

• Pre-pay for a la carte snacks and beverages

• View your child’s purchases (meal history)

• View your balance

• Set up automatic payments

• Receive alerts when your pre-paid balance is low

  • Go to “Manage Profile”

  • Click “Send Low Balance Notification”
