Four year teacher contracts will be offered for the first time starting with the 2018/2019 school year.  The criteria for the Four Year contract and the One Year contract are listed in the chart below.

Please be aware that only full-time (80% or higher FTE) certified teachers and instructional support staff will be offered any contract. The following will not be offered a DPS contract:

• Temporary
• Part-time-less than 80%
• Retirees
• VIF/Participate - Contract is with Participate
• Unlicensed employees such as any “Lead TA’s”
• Employees who failed to maintain or obtain the license such as those on an emergency permit or lateral/provisional that is expiring June 30, 2018
