All Current Juniors Will Take The ACT On March 11, 2025

  • ALL Juniors are required to take the ACT on 3/11/2025. It is a graduation requirement and not an optional exam.

    • Testing locations will be posted in the main lobby and outside of the cafeteria by the car line on the afternoon of 3/10 and 3/11 before school. 
    • The test will take approximately 4 hours to complete and will run from 9:15-1:30.
    • Juniors with an approved pass will still have off-campus lunch on 3/11. 
    • Lunch will be served for 11th graders after testing has concluded from 1:30p-2:00p in the cafeteria. 
    • Juniors will go to 3rd period following lunch. 
    • If students are present for testing, they will not be marked absent. 
    • If students miss the test, they will have to make it up. 
    • If your child has pre-approved ACT accommodations for extended time over multiple days, your child may be testing on the 12th and 13th. 
    • Students will create their MyACT accounts during their testing session if they have not already done so. This is where they will access scores and select which colleges to send them to.

    Students have access to the following ACT preparation materials free of charge: 

    • ACT ONLINE Prep: Students log in to onlineprep.act.org, use the username and password that was sent to their DPS email accounts from Mr. Blackwell.  
    • ACT Edmentum Prep: Students log in to NCEdCloud, then click Clever (blue square with a white C inside), scroll down and click the Edmentum "e" (lower case e with multiple colors on the crossbar).

    • TestNav Tutorial - how to use the testing tools on the site you will use on test day
    • MyACT.org This is how you get your scores. Unique student codes will be given to you on test day. Your account must be created by March 13th! This is the only way to get FREE scores sent to schools. After this deadline, you will have to pay $19 per school to send scores.
    • Calculator Policy - There is a built in calculator in the test; handheld calculators will not be provided.
