Señor Everitt has taught Spanish for 24 years to students at Ignite!, DSA, Githens, and NC Virtual Public School. He has a Masters in Instructional Technology from NC State and is certified by the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards.

I graduated from the UNCW with a degree in Special Education and will begin my 10th year as a Special Educator for the 22-23 school year. 

Ms. Guffey is a Modern Classrooms Distinguished Educator & former DPS Teacher of the Year Finalist.

Mrs. Outlaw is coming to DPS from JH Rose High School. She has a Masters Degree in Secondary Math Ed. From ECU.

Entering into my 12th year as a Special Education teacher for the 2022-2023 school year. I graduated N.C. State University in 2007 with a Bachelors of Psychology and again in 2010 with a Masters of Education. I love explaining how Math can be applied in our everyday lives as well as being outside either hiking, camping, kayaking, or exploring the world when not at school.
