A warm welcome to E. K. Powe Elementary School, a fantastic place where kids, families, teachers, and other staff are working together to provide an excellent learning environment.  We hope our website is informative and intuitive, but we always welcome your feedback and request for content.  

E.K. Powe welcomes Powe families and other visitors to our campus at 913 Ninth Street.  After 7:45 a.m., doors are locked, so please ring the bell at the main front door and get a visitor's pass in the office (first left).  All visitors in the building must have a visitor’s pass during school hours.

To schedule a tour, please call the main office at 919-560-3963 during work hours: (M-F 8:30 to 3:30).

Teachers also welcome visits from parents, but please sign up for a time with your child’s teacher so as not to disturb the classroom’s daily routine.
