This is Mr. Hunt's third year as principal of Glenn Elementary. Mr. Hunt grew up in New York and has served as a math teacher, coach, and administrator at the elementary and high school levels in Durham since 2005. His favorite things about Glenn are the amazing students, involved and caring families, and the very best teaching staff in Durham. In his free time, Mr. Hunt loves to spend time with family, exercise, and watch NBA basketball games whenever possible.

Ms. Boyd began her career as a Teach For America Corps member in Eastern North Carolina. Following her time in the classroom as a third grade teacher she earned a degree in School Administration and began working as an Assistant Principal in the Orange County Schools system. Since that time she’s served in various school based roles including :Assistant Principal, Transformation Coach,Instructional Coach,  and Dean of Students in the Vance, Orange, and Durham Public Schools system. Ms. Boyd is proud to serve the students and families of Glenn Elementary School having transitioned into the role of Assistant Principal in the fall of 2023. 

Ms. Parker is in her 6th year at Glenn. Ms. Parker grew up in Cedar Grove, North Carolina. This is her 24th year as an educator. Ms. Parker served as a teacher and instructional coach at the elementary level. She served as an elementary math specialist for Durham Public Schools before coming to Glenn. In her free time, Ms. Parker spends time helping on her family’s farm and spending time with her nieces and nephews.
