Visit the Destiny Media Catalog to find books in our library! You can access Destiny online from any computer to see what books are available for checkout, find educator-reviewed websites through WebPath Express, put books on hold, write book reviews, see images of book covers through TitlePeek, and so much more.

Enter the Middle School Zone for links to online Encyclopedias, Databases, magazines, e-books, PBS videos and more. Use NC Wise Owl for help with research, citations, dictionaries, reading the news, even video streaming.

Cite your sources!
Here at Neal Middle School, we always give credit to the sources we use for research. BibMe is a website that helps you create create bibliographies for your work. It's a quick and easy way to make citations! BibMe includes several citation formats, but the one most commonly used in middle school is MLA Format.

Durham's Public Library!
The Durham Public Library has a great partnership with our schools to give students access to their books, e-books, and other resources. Students can use their Student ID Number to borrow from the Durham County Library's online collection and access their databases.

The NSTeens website has awesome games about Internet Safety. Games like Password Plunder, Stop that Post and Cyberbully Zombies Attack are super fun and help you learn at the same time.

Cyberbullying is bullying that takes place over digital devices like cell phones, computers, and tablets. It's a real problem in our schools, but with your help we can prevent other kids from experiencing cyberbullying. This website, StopBullying, is on a mission to stop bullying for good.

NetSmartz Workshop is an interactive, educational program of the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children that provides age-appropriate resources to help teach children how to be safer on- and offline. They have games, videos, tip sheets, and more to cover lots of topics.

PopTropica is a virtual world created by the author of the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series, Jeff Kinney. It's an awesome website with quests, stories, and games. There are always new areas to explore, objects to collect, mysteries to solve, movies, comics, books, and even competitions to win.

Funbrain, which has different sections organized by grade level, offers more than 100 fun, interactive games that develop skills in math, reading, and literacy.
