In order to maximize instructional time, please be sure your child is on time every day.  Students must be in attendance for at least 50% ( 7:45 am to 10:30am) of the school day in order to be counted present.  Students are considered tardy after 7:45 am.  Students arrivings late must go to the school office accompanied by a parent to receive a pass before going to their classroom.  A student who is frequently absent from school may be considered for retention because of the amount of instruction missed.  It is extremely difficult to keep up with instruction if students are absent from school.  When returning to school from an absence, please make sure that an excuse is sent in to your child's teacher.
