Earn Industry Credentials

  • Students who obtain an industry certification while in high school become uniquely qualified to apply for jobs after graduation and may have an advantage over those without a certification.

All CTE students may take the WorkKeys exam, which measures workplace skills that can affect your job performance. Students who score well receive a National Career Readiness Certificate, highly valued by many employers.

CTE offers resources and, in many cases, coursework that prepare students to earn the industry credentials listed below. Your school’s career development coordinator, special populations coordinator, or guidance counselor can tell you more about the process for obtaining these credentials.
