Bethesda Lottery Plan 2024-2025

Bethesda Elementary School is a neighborhood community school and does its Dual Language Lottery separately from all magnet schools. Our application will open on April 1st, 2024 and close on August 27th at noon. Students chosen for our dual program will be called on August 27th, 2024. See details below for more information.

Monday, August 26th, 2024 

• Half of the registered Kindergartners come (Group A: last name A-L) for assessments
• Parents stay for an information session about Kindergarten and DLI from 7:45-8:45am

Tuesday, August 27th, 2024

• Half of the registered Kindergartners come (Group B: last name M-Z) for assessments
• Parents stay for information session about Kinder and DLI 7:45-8:45
• DLI Application closes at noon
• Lottery held that afternoon, calls go out to families
• After school the Kindergarten team creates all the classes

Wednesday, August 28th, 2024

• Group A attends school and learns routines.

Thursday, August 29th, 2024

• Group B attends school and learns routines.

Friday, August 30th, 2024

• All Kindergartners attend school

Application comes out April 1st and closes August 27th at noon.
