There are three flexible options for coursework (see pacing guide)

• Online

• Distance Learning 

• Face-to-Face

• Limited to 50 resident teachers (per cohort) accepted into this NCDPI-approved WCPSS program and pay a reduced $2000 tuition.

• To qualify for this scholarship program you must meet the licensure requirements as a resident teacher (See below).

You must meet three criteria:

• Have a bachelor’s degree (any field) with a minimum GPA of 2.7

• Provide proof of 24 completed credit hours or earned a passing score on the NC content exam for my licensure area

• Be recommended for hire as a WCPSS teacher

Select the area that applies to you:

• I don’t have the 2.7 GPA.

  • We will review your application and in some cases can offer a GPA boost to support you with your GPA.

OR

• I do not have the 24 credit hours nor a passing score on the NC content exam.

  • If you have an Emergency License we can review your application and in some cases offer you enrollment while you work on passing the content exam.
