Durham Public Schools - Panorama SEL Survey Announcement

Durham Public Schools (DPS) is proud to partner with Panorama Education to ensure that students are growing the social-emotional learning (SEL) skills that positively impact academic success and healthy development. As a part of that effort, PK - 12 students will be assessed during a window from April 14th through April 30th on several domains, including sense of belonging, social awareness, self-management, growth mindset, self-efficacy, emotional regulation, and cultural awareness/action. Students in 3rd through 12th grades will complete their own survey, while the teachers of students in PK - 2 will take a brief version of the survey on their students’ behalf. The results will help DPS assess the implementation of SEL programs and systems and ensure that every student who needs additional support during this challenging time receives it.
