Durham Public Schools offers all employees access to an Employee Assistance Program, administered by Deer Oaks, which provides information, guidance, and support to help employees reach their personal and professional goals, manage daily stresses, and develop fulfilling relationships. Information can be found on the EAP website or in the DPS Employee Handbook.
Employee assistance program (EAP) counselors are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for support with stress management, work/life balance, healthy living, and more. DPS employees can access a counselor face-to-face, online, or by phone - whichever is most convenient. And as with all EAP services, your conversation will be strictly confidential.
