    Where will they take it? High School where enrolled

    Why will they take it? The ACT Test is based on the content a student has or is learning in high school classes.  It is not an aptitude or IQ test.  Scores form the ACT are accepted by all 4-year colleges and universities in the United States.

    Cost: No Cost

    Test Format: The ACT has four Multiple-Choice Sections and one Writing Section.

    Multiple-Choice - Designed to take about 3 and 1/2 hours

    Writing - 30 minutes

    • 75 English Questions
    • 60 Math Questions
    • 40 Reading Questions
    • 40 Science Questions

    1 Prompt -  Students have thirty minutes to write and essay defending a position on that prompt.
